What is Melanotan?
Melanotan is a synthetic peptide designed to stimulate melanin production in the skin which can cause tanning without long period of exposure to UV or direct sunlight. in our products we use Melanotan 2 (MT-2) which affects pigment in skin to create a bronzer darker complexion.
What form does Melanotan come in?
- Injectable- usually in a glass vial with provided needles
- Nasal sprays- In a nasal spray bottle with solution inside (most popular)
- Under-tongue drops- In a Dropper bottle with flavoured oral solution inside
How long does it take to see results?
- Injectable- Results appear 2 days from first injection.
- Nasal Spray- Results are seen after first use.
- Tanning Drops- Results are seen from 3 days use.
Dosage of products?
Injections- Injections need to be used everyday for 7 days. After 7 days it can be used 2-3 times a week with UV exposure.
Nasal Spray- Nasals should be used everyday for 5 days with UV exposure. after 5 days it can be used 3 times a week depending on UV intake.
Oral Drops- This product can be used everyday before UV exposure.
Are Melanotan products safe to use?
Melanotan is a peptide used to enhance pigment in the skin allowing it to reach the skins surface without causing harm. Melanotan is safe to use and is not linked to any serious harm. Whilst using Melanotan it is recommended to use SPF to reduce the risk of sun spots and damage to skin.
How Melanotan should be stored?
Injections- injections need to be refrigerated as the glass vial need to be stored at a cold temperature.
Nasals/Oral drops- These products can be stored in a cool dry place and not refrigerated as Heat or Cold can make the liquid evaporate. This could mean your product needs to be ordered again.
